COLUMBUS, Ohio — If you knew Darcy Hooper, you’d know just how big of a personality she had.
"Loud, funny, crazy, just all over the place bouncing off the walls, spontaneous,” is how her daughter Kameran Winstead described her. “She just had that personality that would draw everyone in."
Hooper’s body was found partially decomposed in a drainage ditch in Marion County last week, according to the sheriff's office.
Darcy is from South Fulton, Tennessee. Her daughter said she didn’t know why her mother was found in Marion County.
"It feels really lonely...and empty,” said Winstead.
Even in this unbearable time, Winstead still holds onto the many memories she shared with her mother.
“She was well loved,” said Winstead.
The Lucas County Medical Examiner's Office is performing an autopsy to determine what caused her death.
The investigation is ongoing. A GoFundMe has been created to help the family with funeral expenses.
