OHIO, USA — Since the Super Tuesday elections, new developments have made the ballots look slightly different for states that haven't had primary elections yet.
GOP candidate Nikki Haley suspended her campaign on Wednesday, making Donald Trump the last Republican standing in the 2024 primary.
U.S. Rep. Dean Phillips of Minnesota ended his Democratic presidential bid after failing to win a primary contest against President Joe Biden. Self-help author Marianne Williamson and entrepreneur Jason Palmer remain in the Democratic race.
The primary elections and causes are poised to set Trump and Biden up for a historic rematch.
When does Ohio vote?
Ohio did not hold an election for Super Tuesday but will hold a primary election on March 19.
Early voting is underway in Ohio until March 17.
What's on the ballot?
Voters will determine which candidate from each party should land on the Nov. 5 ballot this year.
PresidenBiden and presidential candidates Dean Phillips and Marianne Williams are running for the Democratic nomination. For Republicans, the primary contest is between Trump and candidate Nikki Haley.
Additionally, voters will decide their party’s nominee for the U.S. Senate as Republicans Matt Dolan, Frank LaRose and Bernie Moreno are fighting to become the primary Republican candidate Whoever wins the primary election will face Sen. Brown in the general election on Nov. 5.
Olentangy Schools will have a levy on the ballot to help the district build five new buildings to accommodate more students in the coming years. This would include three new elementary schools, one new middle school and one new high school.

The Norwich Township Fire Department is also asking its residents to pass a levy in March. The money from the 4.9-mill permanent levy would be used to increase staffing levels, add a fourth ambulance and a second ladder truck and help construct a fourth fire station.
When do polls open and close?
The Ohio Secretary of State's office posted a voting schedule on its website.
From Feb. 21 to March 8, voting locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 9. Locations will be closed on most Sundays.
From March 11 to March 15, polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for early voting. On March 16, locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. On March 17, locations will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Ohio Voter ID requirements
Valid types of photo identification include:
- Ohio driver's license
- State of Ohio ID card
- Interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV
- US passport
- US passport card
- US military ID card
- Ohio National Guard ID card
- US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card
All photo IDs must have an expiration date that has not passed.
What if you forget your ID on Election Day? You will still be able to vote using a provisional ballot. For that ballot to be counted, you must return to the board of elections no later than four days following Election Day to provide a qualifying form of identification.
Ohio law prohibits acceptance of the following forms of ID:
- Out-of-state driver’s license or photo ID
- Social Security card
- Birth certificate
- Insurance card
- Utility bill
- Bank statement
- Government check
- Paycheck
- Other government document
- Any registration acknowledgment notice from the county board of elections
