COLUMBUS, Ohio — One family is grappling with the recent loss of their loved one, Tiffany Parrish, who was among two other women found fatally shot at a home in south Columbus.
The three women were discovered dead with gunshot wounds inside a home on South Ohio Avenue on Saturday. They were identified by the Columbus Division of Police as 34-year-old Sierra Muse, 49-year-old Dawn Glover and 36-year-old Parrish.
Parrish's family described her as one of the biggest-hearted and kindest people.
"She could protect you,” said Kellie Argyle, Tiffany’s aunt.
Argyle said Parrish valued her family, especially her mother and four children.
“It’s heartbreaking because the person that did this didn’t just hurt Tiffany, Sierra, or Dawn. They hurt their families and friends,” she said.
Columbus police are still investigating the triple homicide.
On Tuesday, police confirmed the triple homicide is connected to the homicide of Darrell Hambrick, who died after a shooting on Dec. 10. They did not clarify how they are linked.
“There aren’t coincidences for them to be murdered in his house, it's related,” said Argyle.
In a press conference Tuesday, Deputy Chief Smith Weir cleared up community concerns about the recent homicides and provided additional information.
“We have been made aware that over the past several days there have been some rumors circulating on social media that some incidents are connected to a serial killer. I can tell you definitively that’s not the case,” Columbus Division of Police Deputy Chief Smith Weir said.
He asked community members with information on the homicide cases to come forward.
Argyle said her niece's life was stolen.
“It’s hard to believe she won’t be with us for Christmas or other holidays, see her kids grow up, have kids of their own and experience being a grandma. Everything else other people get to do,” said Argyle.
Parrish's family wants answers to who killed the three women.
“People need to come forward. Give the information, they will be safe. We need information to come out so we can get the person put away,” said Argyle.
Anyone with information on the cases is asked to call Columbus Police’s Homicide Units at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477 (TIPS).
