COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police has arrested a suspect accused of shooting and killing a 45-year-old man on the city’s south side last week.
Haikiem Graham, 39, was arrested Saturday by Columbus Police SWAT officers on murder charges in connection to the shooting death of Darrell Hambrick, 45, on Dec. 10.
Officers were called to a home in the 700 block of East Moler Street, near Frebis Avenue, just before 1:30 p.m. on a report of a shooting. A dispatcher for the city’s public safety department told 10TV the shooting occurred in the yard.
When officers arrived, they found Hambrick suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died.
Graham is being held in the Franklin County Jail. He is expected to be arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court on Monday.
