HILLIARD, Ohio — The Hilliard Division of Police is searching for three people suspected of firing shots into a home near the Scioto River.
Police said on Dec. 10, officers responded to an area north of Fishinger Road near the river on reports of shots fired. Hours later, a resident discovered multiple bullets that struck their home. One of the bullets went through their kitchen and another into a nursery.
Police did not say whether anyone was injured.
Detectives found empty shell casings on the ground by the Griggs Reservoir Shelter House.
Police said more gunshots were reported in the area over the weekend. Surveillance video captured images of three people near the shelter house the same night. One of them was holding a firearm while two others stood behind him.
