PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A former Pickaway County teacher who authorities say admitted to sending explicit photos to a student in August has pleaded not guilty.
Tiffany Haughey appeared in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court Wednesday morning. She was released on her own recognizance and ordered by the judge to not have contact with the victim or anyone under 18 without supervision unless they are her children.
The 42-year-old woman was charged with disseminating matter harmful to juveniles after reportedly exchanging photos with a student.

The principal of Westfall High School reported the accusations to the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office on Aug. 2 after a student told one of his coaches that Haughey, an intervention specialist at the school, allegedly sent obscene photos to another student.
On Aug. 8, deputies spoke to the student involved who said he and Haughey became Snapchat friends and messaged each other every day. He reportedly told deputies that they had exchanged explicit photos.
Later that day, deputies spoke to Haughey outside of her home. She told police that she was begged to send images and that she was in a vulnerable state.
Haughey said the student did send her explicit photos and admitted to sending explicit photos to the student.
The school district said Haughey was immediately placed on leave and she resigned from the district on Aug. 16.
A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m.
