COLUMBUS, Ohio — Snow has fallen and coated the central Ohio area enough for sledding.

There are plenty of hills to check out in the area perfect for those looking to gain some downhill speed and enjoy the snowy day with some outdoor fun. Columbus Metro Parks and several state and city parks are popular spots for families looking for a quiet place to sled with some impressive slopes. 

So grab your sleds, tubes, snowboards, coat, hat and mittens and check out a hill near you!

Ohio ski resorts

There's also two ski resorts in the central Ohio area that are open for the season and offer tubing, skiing and snowboarding. Mad River Mountain in Zanesfield and Snow Trails in Mansfield are other great stops for those looking for a longer day trip out of the city.
