Snow moves into Central Ohio just after Thursday's morning drive.
The latest computer models show light snow moving into Western Ohio after 8 a.m. and central Ohio between 9-10 a.m.
The snow will be steady during the day with 1-2 inches likely along and north of I-70 and 2-4 inches south of I-70. I expect the snow will force some schools to dismiss classes early so parents should plan ahead to pick up their kids early or have someone at home if they are let out early.
With temperatures in the lower to middle 20s tomorrow, I anticipate a very slow evening commute. You should count on snow covered roads and travel delays for much of the day and into tomorrow night.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the southern half of Ohio beginning at 8 a.m. and lasting until 11 p.m. tomorrow night.
