Wednesday Morning update:
All of the attention has been on Tropical Storm Dorian but we have to share some love for Tropical Storm Erin, which is several hundred miles off the Carolina coast. Erin isn't posing any direct threat to the east coast, but the tropical storm will bring heavy rain and breezy winds through parts of the NE before moving towards Nova Scotia by Friday.
This storm will begin to take a turn north today then northeast into Thursday. While movement is slow now at 6 mph towards the NNW, the storm will make pick up speed later today. Erin is expected to maintain tropical storm strength and will then become a post tropical cyclone by this weekend.
