COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is seriously injured after a single-vehicle crash near downtown Columbus Saturday morning, according to police.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the ramp from Interstate 670 eastbound to state Route 315 southbound just before 7 a.m. on a report of a crash.
A dispatcher for the city’s public safety department told 10TV the vehicle hit a tree and that first responders had to extricate the victim from the vehicle.
The victim was transported to Grant Medical Center in serious condition. The ramp was closed as authorities investigated, but has since reopened.
