COLUMBUS, Ohio — A motorcyclist is seriously injured after a crash on Interstate 270 Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened around 12:40 p.m. and closed the lanes down on Interstate 270 West beyond Interstate 71 for several hours. They have since reopened.
The Columbus Division of Police said a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was heading south on the I-71 ramp to I-270 westbound when the driver lost control and was ejected from the bike. The motorcyclist was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition but was later upgraded to "stable," police say.
