COLUMBUS, Ohio — The National Weather Service canceled a Winter Weather Advisory that was in effect for central Ohio on Monday. Despite the cancellation, some snow showers and wind will linger into the night.
Monday was the first winter weather event central Ohio has seen since March. While the snow amounts were minimal, strong winds created snow squalls throughout the area.
Tuesday will be dry, but much colder. Wind chills will be in the teens. Sunshine will return as well and continue into Wednesday.
The next storm system won't be until this weekend and that will mostly just be rain, so not much of a chance for a white Christmas this year.
