COLUMBUS, Ohio — Children and their families are looking forward to trick-or-treating this Halloween. However, temperatures are expected to drop and the greater Columbus area could see some snow flurries.

Our Doppler 10 team breaks down whether you need to bring an umbrella before heading to trick-or-treating.

On Halloween morning, we're waking up to temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Layer up before you leave the house this morning and keep the jacket handy for trick-or-treating this evening.

Temperatures will only climb into the middle 40s by the evening.

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., temperatures fall from the middle 40s to the lower 40s and there is a chance for a few quick snow flurries to pass through. They won't accumulate, but there will be enough to put a little chill on the tail end of your Halloween festivities.

Happy Halloween!
