COLUMBUS, Ohio — Light snow showers are expected to move through much of central Ohio on Sunday.
Temperatures start off near freezing and will top out in the mid 30s again. Little if any snow accumulation is expected.
High pressure briefly dries us out for Monday before rain moves in on Tuesday. Winds will be gusty as well, with mild air moving in.
The Ohio Department of Transportation has been hard at work making sure they are prepared for the snowy conditions. Crews spent time pre-treating roadways and the first trucks will roll out overnight ahead of the snowfall. ODOT wants to remind drivers to be extra alert, especially on bridges and overpasses which freeze first, and allow extra travel time.
