Temps warm back up after first snow of the season

Use caution while driving this morning. Any moisture left on untreated surfaces likely froze over and could make for some slick roads.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Central Ohio saw the first snow of the season on Thursday! Cold temperatures lingered into Friday morning, causing a slick commute for some.

Temperatures warmed back up above freezing once the sun came out.

Accumulations were on the light side on Thursday, generally less than 1/2", with a couple of locations getting up to 1".  With the recent warm stretch of weather, the ground temperatures are still above freezing which limited the snowfall accumulation.
