COLUMBUS, Ohio — Central Ohio will only see a little bit of rain Thursday afternoon and evening. That wasn't the case for this morning.

Moderate to heavy rain started falling across central Ohio around midnight and lasted until about 9 a.m.

The rain caused water ponding on roads, causing some difficulties during the morning commute. Travelers may also experience reduced visibility.

Since then, the clouds are still around and some rain will move up from Cincinnati, but it won't be anything like we had this morning.

Once the system passes late on Thursday, we will see improving weather on Friday and into the weekend.
