What to know about the MLS All-Star Game in Columbus

This year's game is being hosted at Lower.com Field.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — We're halfway through the Major League Soccer Season, which means it's time for the MLS All-Star Game.

This year's game is being hosted at Lower.com Field in Columbus.

For the third straight year, the MLS All-Stars will play against Mexico's Liga MX all-stars.

Soccer's biggest stars, including Dénis Bouanga, Sergio Busquets, Carlos Rodríguez and more are scheduled to play. 

Here's what you need to know for the game.

How can I watch?

The game starts at 8 p.m. EST and it is exclusively being streamed on Apple TV+ MLS Season Pass.

How can I buy tickets to the game?

Tickets can be bought on Ticketmaster here. The cheapest tickets start at $28.

Is Lionel Messi playing in the All-Star Game?

Inter Miami FC star Lionel Messi won't play in today's MLS All-Star Game, the team announced on Monday. League officials have not confirmed whether or not Messi will be in attendance for the game. Teammate Luis Suarez won't compete in the game as well. Both players are recovering from injuries suffered while pursuing the Copa America with Argentina and Uruguay, respectively.

Are there any Columbus Crew players in the All-Star Game?

Overall, 18 clubs are represented in this year's All-Star Game roster, led by the Crew with five players: Rudy Camacho, Cucho Hernández, Steven Moreira, Darlington Nagbe and Diego Rossi. Columbus head coach Wilfried Nancy is coaching the club. To see the full roster, click here.
