Football coach, central Ohioan Kenny Anunike knows firsthand what it's like to play in the Super Bowl

The Olentangy High School graduate played at Duke University where he earned the nickname, "Night Train" because he was 6’5” and weighed 255 pounds.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kenny Anunike is living a dream come true for many kids who play youth football. 

The  33-year-old central Ohioan played in a Super Bowl and won. Anunike played for the Denver Broncos as a defensive end. 

“You braved through the pre-season, regular season, post-season,” Anunike said. “The playoffs and now it's just one of two."

The Olentangy High School graduate played at Duke University where he earned the nickname, "Night Train" because he was 6’5” and weighed 255 pounds. 

Anunike was an undrafted free agent when he got the opportunity to play for Denver. Soon after, Anunike went from the “Mile High City” to New York and the Jets.

These days, he, his wife Laila, along with orthopedic surgeon Raymond Wurapa are on a new team. 

Skelo Wear is a venture that will create protective equipment and AI-powered training devices for player safety and skill development. It can also be used for high-risk bodily harm entities including the military, industrial, and manufacturing.

Anunike said he's rooting for the San Francisco 49ers.
