WATCH: Ohio State Marching Band "One Giant Leap" halftime show

The Best Damn Band In The Land paid tribute to the United States' moon landing which happened 50 years ago this past summer.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State Marching Band's halftime show at the Michigan State game was out of the world.

The Best Damn Band In The Land paid tribute to the United States' moon landing which happened 50 years ago this past summer.

NASA even gave a nod to the performance on Twitter.

The show ended with more than 70 piccolo players (20 current band members and more than 50 alumni) performing The Stars and Stripes Forever.
