COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State University is celebrating something big this week — and it's not just Halloween.
On Wednesday, Ohio State wished Brutus Buckeye a happy birthday.
According to the school, the famous buckeye is turning 54 years old. Starting as a papier-mâché creation, the mascot's first debut was in 1965.
