COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Crew announced it will have a presale for season ticket holders after they were not able to get tickets for this Saturday's MLS Cup.
According to a statement from the Crew, a "number" of unauthorized people accessed a password-protected presale for the MLS tickets.
Multiple Crew fans posted on social media saying season ticket holders were unable to buy tickets for the championship game, which is being held at Lower.com Field. The Crew will play LAFC at 4 p.m.
The Crew said they canceled the unauthorized orders and will hold an updated presale window on Tuesday exclusively for season ticket holders.
The general public sale will now be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
