Central Ohio has been hit with scorching temperatures this week and the heat doesn't look like it will let up until next week.

Heat index values topped 100 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday, and are looking to be at 99 on Thursday and Friday.

The combination of heat and humidity makes it hard for the body to cool down, so it's important to take precautions. Make sure you are hydrating before, during and after any outdoor activities.
