DUBLIN, Ohio — The Memorial Tournament announced four early commitments by players agreeing to play at Muirfield Village Golf Club this year.
Last year’s champion Patrick Cantlay, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia have entered to play.
The Memorial Tournament will be played July 13-19 in front of fans, but there will be safety guidelines in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Last year, Cantlay set a record for the lowest final round score by a Memorial Tournament winner with a 64.
This will mark Koepka’s third Memorial Tournament, having last played in 2017.
Johnson’s best finish at the Memorial Tournament came in 2016 when he finished in third. This will be his 12th time playing in the tournament.
This year will be Garcia’s first time playing the Memorial Tournament since 2008, with his best outing coming in 2001 when he tied for second.
