Ohio State football press conference: Ryan Day speaks ahead of Michigan State game

The third-ranked Buckeyes face their first conference opponent of the season when they travel to East Lansing Saturday to take on Michigan State.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State head football coach Ryan Day held his weekly media briefing Tuesday from the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. 

The third-ranked Buckeyes face their first conference opponent of the season when they travel to East Lansing Saturday to take on Michigan State. 

The Big Ten matchup will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will be streamed on Peacock. 

Ohio State is 3-0 on the season with dominant wins at home over Akron, Western Michigan and Marshall. 

The Spartans (3-1) dropped their first game of the season last week with a 23-19 loss at Boston College. Through the first three games, they recorded wins over Florida Atlantic, Maryland and Prairie View.

Following Day's update Tuesday afternoon, defensive coordinator Jim Knowles and starting quarterback Will Howard also spoke with the media.
