EAST LANSING, Mich. — After a few tune up games, Ohio State is entering conference play this week.
The Buckeyes travel north to take on Michigan State.

- This game will mark the start of Ohio State’s 112th Big Ten Conference season. Ohio State’s first season of Big Ten play was in 1913.
- The Buckeyes have the most Big Ten Conference wins with 550. Ohio State's .749 conference winning percentage is also the best in the conference.
- Ohio State and Michigan State will be meeting for the 53rd time on Saturday. Ohio State holds a 37-15 series lead.
- Eight of Michigan State's 15 wins in this series have come over a nationally ranked Ohio State, including five Spartan wins over a Top 5 Ohio State team.
- Ryan Day coached teams are 5-0 vs. Michigan State. His teams have only allowed 52 total points in those games.
