Turnover! CB Denzel Burke intercepted Chiles and ran it 31 yards to the Michigan State 12-yard line. After a gain by Judkins, Howard kept the ball and ran into the endzone untouched for the TD.

Howard returned to the field in the second half and connected with his receivers to chip away down the field. On a fourth down conversion at the Michigan State 33-yard line, Howard threw a dagger to Egbuka for the TD.

JEREMIAH. SMITH. A jumping one-handed grab by Smith got Ohio State into the red zone. Howard took a big hit and was taken out of the game with 34 seconds left in the half, putting in backup QB Devin Brown. 

Brown threw a 17-yarder to Smith who made ANOTHER one-handed catch for the TD.

After a Michigan State fumble, Ohio State got the ball on their 19-yard line, but Howard threw an interception, giving MSU the ball back. 

Michigan State quickly scored the TD after a pass from QB Aidan Chiles to WR Jaron Glover who rushed it to the endzone.

Michigan State turned the ball over on downs, giving Ohio State the ball on their own 20-yard line. A big pass to WR Emeka Egbuka got the Buckeyes into MSU territory. 

A flag on the Spartans pushed Ohio State forward 15 yards and they continued to chip away on downs. Howard hit TE Gee Scott Jr. with a 3-yard pass for the TD.

After receiving the kickoff, QB Will Howard drove the Buckeyes down the field deep into Michigan State territory. An unnecessary roughness call on Will Kacmarek sent them back 15 yards. After failing to convert, the Buckeyes settled for a 30-yard field goal.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are in East Lansing to take on the Michigan State Spartans.

Ohio State is 3-0 to start the season, outscoring their opponents 157-20. The Buckeyes have also not allowed any second half points.

The Spartans have already faced a Big Ten opponent, beating Maryland 27-24 earlier this month. Michigan State is 3-1 on the year. They lost to Boston College 23-19 last week.

The Buckeyes will be without four players this week, but defensive tackle Tyleik Williams is set to return after sitting out last week's game against Marshall.

Since beating the Buckeyes in 2015, the Spartans have lost eight straight games to Ohio State and been outscored 313-75.

Through their first four games, the Spartan defense ranks among the FBS leaders in sacks (tied for second with 15) and total defense (14th at 254.8 yards per game).

The Spartans have beaten Ohio State 10 times when the Buckeyes entered the game ranked in the AP Top 25, including five times when the Buckeyes were ranked in the top five.

Coach Ryan Day is 5-0 against Michigan State and his defense has allowed only 52 points in the five games.

Michigan State will honor Mark Dantonio, the winningest coach in school history, with the National Football Foundation On-Campus Salute and add his name to the Spartan Stadium Ring of Fame during Saturday’s game.
