COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three Ohio State Buckeyes were named first-team All-Big Ten Conference on Tuesday.
Linebacker Tommy Eichenberg, defensive end JT Tuimoloau and cornerback Denzel Burke received the honors. The trio are three of the 13 Buckeyes honored on defense.
Eichenberg leads the team with 80 total tackles. He also had 40 solo stops, 2.5 TFLs and four QB pressures. He was also named the Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year.
Tuimoloau recorded 34 tackles, 4 sacks, 6 TFLs and a team-high 39 yards in losses. He also had a fumble recovery.
Burke had 19 tackles while also having one interception and 10 passes defended on the year. He also forced a fumble.
