10 Things To Know: No. 2 Ohio State vs. No. 5 Indiana

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Hard to believe the regular season is almost over.

Ohio State is in yet another top 5 match up. This time, the Buckeyes will welcome the No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers to Ohio Stadium on Saturday.

Here's this week's 10 Things To Know.

  1. This is the fourth time in the 98-game series that both teams are ranked in the top 25. It's the first time both teams are in the top 5.
  2. The seven-point Ohio State win in 2020 was the closest game in the series in the last 11 years. 
  3. Ohio State leads the all-time series with Indiana, 79-12-5. Indiana's last win came in 1988.
  4. As a Top 5 team, Ohio State is playing another Top 5 ranked team in the regular season for a third time, a first in school history.
  5. Ohio State is ranked No. 1 in the Big Ten in total defense; Indiana is ranked 2nd. Indiana is ranked No. 1 in rushing defense; Ohio Sate is ranked 2nd.
  6. The Buckeyes have limited their opponents' offenses to one touchdown or less in eight of 10 games this season. 
  7. Ohio State's 45-0 shutout of Purdue on Nov. 9 marked the Buckeyes' first multiple shutout season since 2014.
  8. Emeka Egbuka is 29 receptions shy of beating the school record, currently held by K.J. Hill with 201.
  9. TreVeyon Henderson only needs 146 rushing yards to crack Ohio State's top 5 all-time rushers.
  10. This is the 16th straight season Indiana and Ohio State play each other, but that streak will snap next year. After Saturday, their next game is scheduled for 2026.
