The Columbus Clippers defeated the Indianapolis Indians Saturday night to capture the International League Governors' Cup Championship for the tenth time in club history.
The Clippers won 3-0 in Indianapolis in the decisive Game 5 of the championship series.
Clippers outfielder Michael Choice was named 2015 Governors' Cup Finals MVP.
With the win, the Clippers advance to the Triple-A Baseball National Championship Game in El Paso, Texas on September 22.
The team will face the winner of the Pacific Coast League (PCL).
In the PCL Championship Series, the Round Rock Express lead the Fresno Grizzlies 2-1 in the best-of-five series.
