The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced the team’s sixth team captain will be introduced Wednesday at a press conference.
The team hasn’t had a captain since 2012 when Rick Nash was traded.
Since the team’s inception in 2000, the Blue Jackets had had 5 captains: Lyle Odelein, Ray Whitney, Luke Richardson, Adam Foote and Nash.
