It's New York or bust for several animals from the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium scheduled for anappearance on the Late Show With David Letterman.
The animals, including a penguin, flamingos and Madagascar hissing cockroaches, departedColumbus on Friday morning, 10TV News reported.
The animals are scheduled to make appearances in Vermont and Connecticut before appearing on theLetterman Show Monday night.

Brian Greene with the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium said traveling with animals usually makes forsome funny and entertaining moments.
"We get some strange looks," Greene said. "In fact, on thing Jack (Hanna) loves (to do) is knockon a door and say, 'Room Service,' and there will be Jack Hanna with a penguin standing outside thedoor."
Also making the trip are the Anatolian shepherd dogs, Ruth and Reese, and cheetahs, Ro andReh.
