A 24-year-old woman was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison in connection with the death ofher boyfriend's daughter.
The attorney for Beth Neff said that she plans to appeal her conviction, 10TV News reported.
A jury found that Neff caused head injuries to 16-month-old Kylee Tolber in October 2006. The girl later died at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

"I'm never going to have anything else," said Jessica Rowan, the girl's mother. "She'd befour this year. She would have started school next year."
The maximum sentence Neff originally faced was 22 years to life behind bars.
