Grainy surveillance images showed the last glimpse of Shaffer going up a set of escalatorstoward the bar. Authorities have developed no leads in his disappearance.
Waggoner said the last two years have been tough for her, but counseling and a strong familyenabled her to get through the darkest days, Connelly reported.
While police and family members continued to search for answers in Shaffer's disappearance,Waggoner said she was balancing her memories of Brian and her life ahead.
"Obviously you have the goal of trying to find someone, but you've got to also have the goalof what your life is going to be," Waggoner said. '"I guess you just try as much as you can to lookat both of them independently and go for both of them."
"You do what you need to do to find someone," Waggoner said. "Talk to the media, talk towhoever you need to, keep looking and getting involved. But at the same time you have to rememberthat you are still there."
Waggoner said that there were many people inside the bar the night that Shaffer disappeared. She said that she was hopeful that anyone with information would come forward.
Crime Stopper offered a reward of up to $25,000 in exchange for information about Shaffer'sdisappearance.
