Trix is putting its fruit-shaped cereal back on shelves.
The cereal, which debuted in 1954, was pastel colored and ball-shaped, but in the '90s General Mills changed that shape to look like fruit. Then sometime after 2006, the company switched back to the original shape.
But now the fruit shapes will be available once more.
The company's decision was based on thousands of consumer requests.
The fruit-shaped cereal will start reappearing on shelves nationwide this month.
