PHILADELPHIA — Remember the giant 26-pound cat BeeJay, or Mr. B for short, who was staying at a Philadelphia animal shelter?
It looks like he may have his forever home.
The Morris Animal Refuge tweeted an update Wednesday saying more than 3,000 applied to adopt him and he's currently in a foster home and the staff hopes it is permanent.
Mr. B became famous last week when the shelter shared a photo of the "chonky" boy.
They described him as a big cat with a big heart and referred to him as a “jumbo-sized package of fluff and love.”
