Teacher Accused Of Breast Milk Spraying Fired

The teacher who allegedly sprayed Delaware County sheriff's deputies with breast milk was firedfrom her job, 10TV News reported Friday.

Summit Academy confirmed to 10TV News that Stephanie Robinette was no longer an employee at thecharter school.

Robinette, 30, of Westerville, was arrested early Saturday outside the Bridgewater Banquet &Conference Center, near Powell.  Deputies said that she allegedly struck her husband twicewith a closed fist before locking herself in their car in the parking lot.

Deputies who arrived at the scene said Robinette was yelling profanities and refused to get outof the car, with the door open.

"Then she took out one of her breasts and literally started pumping her breast to spray the milkon officers," said Sheriff Walter Davis II.

Deputies got Robinette out of her car but said that she attempted to break out the left rearwindow of a deputy's cruiser with her feet before she was taken to jail, 10TV News reported.

Robinette was released from jail after a Monday court appearance and faces five charges andpossibly more, 10TV News reported.

Summit Academy is a public charter school that specializes in the education of children withattention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and Asperger syndrome.
