A Watkins Memorial High School student was arrested for making a threat towards the high school.
The Licking County Sheriff's Office said they had arrested the student Monday.
Extra security was in place Monday at the building after a threat.
The Southwest Licking Superintendent Robert Jennell told 10TV the threat was made over the weekend on an app called "After School."
School officials said the anonymous threat was made online, and students reported it to parents who then reported it to the school.
Parents and kids attending Watkins Memorial High School were notified by a robocall.
Jennell said he was confident that the security in place will keep students safe.
