A fatal crash closed state Route 13 in Mount Vernon on Wednesday afternoon.
The two-car crash happened shortly after 1 p.m., along Route 13, south of Murray Road, inKnox County.
One person, whose identity was not immediately released, was killed in the crash, officialssaid.
Route 13 reopened shortly before 4 p.m.
