Ohioans are able to register through the mail, in person or online.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The deadline for Ohioans to register to vote in the November general election is quickly approaching.

Ohioans have until Oct. 7 to vote in the presidential election on Nov. 5. Ohio has a 30-day voter registration requirement, but the deadline is extended to the next day if that falls on a weekend.

This year, voters will decide on the next U.S. president, a U.S. Senate race, a proposed constitutional amendment and several local bonds and levies.
