COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohioans made their voices heard in the state's March 19 primary.
Cleveland businessman Bernie Moreno won Ohio’s Republican Senate primary on Tuesday, just days after former President Donald Trump visited the state to boost his endorsed candidate in a three-way race that remained competitive to the end.
Voters also decided on several local issues, including levies and the nomination for Franklin County prosecutor.

Locally, there are some important races on the ballot. Franklin County has the race for the prosecuting attorney on its democratic ballot. Olentangy Schools and Norwich Township have also added levies.
Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney
Columbus City Councilmember Shayla Favor defeated two opponents. She goes on to face Republican John Rutan.
Olentangy Schools Levy
The levy failed by nearly 7,000 votes. Had they levy passed, it would have helped accommodate 5,000 more students in 10 years.
Norwich Twp. Fire Department Levy
The money from the 4.9-mill permanent levy will be used to increase staffing levels, add a fourth ambulance, a second ladder truck and help construct a fourth fire station.
