COLUMBUS, Ohio — Voters are heading to the polls to cast their ballots for either Donald Trump or Kamala Harris in one of the nation’s most historic presidential races.

Ohio voters will decide whether they want to set up a citizen-led redistricting commission to replace the state's troubled political mapmaking system. The constitutional amendment on ballots Tuesday as Issue 1 was advanced by the group Citizens Not Politicians.
Voters in the Buckeye State are also deciding on a key U.S. Senate seat. Three-term Democratic U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown faces Republican Bernie Moreno, 57, a Colombian-born Cleveland businessman endorsed by former President Donald Trump, in a contest where spending has hit $500 million.
Polls in Ohio are scheduled to close at 7:30 p.m.
