Columbus police say they arrested a suspected rapist early Saturday morning.
An Ohio State University campus walkie crew was patrolling the area of E. 12th Avenue around 1:50 a.m. when they noticed suspicious activity.
As the officers were passing a vacant garage, they shined their flashlights inside and saw a man who appeared to be having sex with a woman on the ground.
The officers intervened, and while talking with the woman they found she had been forced into the garage and was being sexually assaulted when they arrived.
That man, 36-year-old Randy Graham Jr. was arrested by police and charged with rape and kidnapping.
The woman was treated at a local hospital.
