One man was charged in a Watkins Road crash that claimed the life of a man.
The crash occurred on Watkins Road south of Winchester Pike near state Route 33 at about 1:30 p.m. Friday, 10TV News reported.
According to police, Chad Fields and Lindsay Hill were driving along Watkins Road when a Chevy Tahoe traveled left of center and struck their car.
The Tahoe, driven by Matthew Atkinson, spun off the road and rolled to the opposite side of the road, 10TV News reported.
All three people were transported to Grant Medical Center where Fields, 24, later died.
According to police, Atkinson, 34, was released from the hospital, charged and taken into custody.
Atkinson was charged with Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, 10TV News reported.
Investigators said that they believed alcohol was involved in the crash.
Hill, 18, was expected to recover from her injuries.
