LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A local hospital's own nursing staff raised money and donated some of their own money to make sure babies in the NICU were able to celebrate their first Halloween.

UofL Hospital NICU nurse Melanie Keefe has been taking photos of these adorable babies for several years. Each family gets a keepsake photo from the photoshoot.

This year, these specially-made costumes were purchased with money raised and donated by the NICU nursing staff.

Though these babies are spending their first Halloween in a NICU, they aren't being denied their first costume experience.
