A central Ohio college is making the change from quarters to semesters.
Otterbein College will begin using the semester system in the fall of 2011, 10TV News reportedon Wednesday.
Ohio University also announced plans this month to adopt the semester system.
The university will make the switch in 2012.
State officials said that other schools, including The Ohio State University, the University ofCincinnati and Wright State University, were considering a similar change, 10TV News reported.
Those schools have not announced any official plans.
