10TV News learned that a Sharon Township officer who was arrested on Saturday for drunkendriving had previous problems on the force.
Lt. Terrell LaTour was arrested after a Worthington police officer stopped him for drivingerratically, 10TV News reported.
Inside the car, the officer found LaTour's loaded gun, which prompted a felony charge ofimproperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
LaTour's personnel file revealed that he had previous problems with the department, includingbeing inattentive on the job, 10TV News reported.
However, he was previously named Officer of the Year.
