The state of Ohio unveiled a brand new license plate at a special ceremony at the Ohio Department of Public Safety on Tuesday.

The Bureau of Motor Vehicles will now offer a military sacrifice themed plate. It features a folded American flag with five gold stars around it. The bottom says "military sacrifice."

It is available for any immediate family member of a person who died outside a combat zone.

The license plate honors all branches of the armed forces.

Speakers at the ceremony include Ohio Senator Chris Widener, Medal of Honor Recipient Sgt. Ron Rosser, Restless Hearts author Dennis Baker and Steve Loehrke, whose daughter Sgt. Christina E. Loehrke Smith, was a military sacrifice victim.

The BMV offers nearly 40 other military related special license plates.
