J.C. Penney has announced they will be closing 138 stores nationwide including four in Ohio.
The Ohio locations are listed below:
- Findlay Village Mall - Findlay, Ohio
- New Towne Mall - New Philadelphia, Ohio
- Richmond Town Square - Richmond Heights, Ohio
- St. Mary Square - St. Marys, Ohio
The company announced they would also be closing one supply chain facility and relocating another.
Approximately 5,000 positions will be impacted by the closures nationwide, most of which will happen in June.
The company said they are in the process of identifying relation opportunities for leaders within the company.
Most stores will begin the liquidation process April 17.
