Some games have already been announced and more details are sure to leak before the official unveiling.

Here's what to know about the 2024 NFL schedule release.

When is the full 2024 NFL schedule released?

The NFL is releasing the full season schedule on Wednesday, May 15, at 8 p.m. Eastern.

How to watch the 2024 NFL schedule release

You can watch the schedule release on the NFL Network or stream on NFL.com, the NFL app and NFL+. Additional coverage will air on ESPN2.

When are the international games?

International games are the newest addition to the NFL lineup as the league tries to expand American football's reach overseas. The lineup for the 2024 season's five international games was released Wednesday morning ahead of the release of the regular schedule.

The New York Jets will take on the Minnesota Vikings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Week 5 (Oct. 6).

For Week 6, the Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Chicago bears at the Hotspur stadium (Oct. 13).

The New England Patriots and the Jaguars will take to Wembley Stadium in London for Week 7 (Oct. 20)

The final international game of the season will take place in Germany, at the Allianz Arena in Munich. The New York Giants will play against the Carolina Panthers during Week 10 (Nov. 10).

The year's first international game, which was previously announced, pits the Green Bay Packers against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil. That game takes place during Week 1 of the season, on Sept. 6.

It's the first NFL game to take place in South America.

Jacksonville, Minnesota and Chicago are the designated home teams for the London contests and Carolina will head to Munich as the home team. The Eagles are the home team for Brazil.

Which games have already been announced?

The NFL has released select game information in advance of the league revealing its full slate of games on Wednesday night.

The Jets are opening on Monday Night Football for a second consecutive season following a 22-16 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills last year, in what became Rodgers' celebrated but injury-abbreviated New York debut. Rodgers attempted one pass, which went incomplete, during a first series which ended with him tearing his left Achilles tendon. He was sidelined for the rest of the season.

Prime's Thursday night broadcast kicks off with a rematch of last season's finale in which Josh Allen and the Bills defeated the Dolphins 21-14 to clinch Buffalo its fourth consecutive AFC East title.

The Green Bay Packers will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Sept. 6. It will be the first time the NFL has played a game on Friday night of opening weekend in more than 50 years.

Tom Brady’s broadcast debut with Fox will be on Sept. 8 when the Dallas Cowboys open at the Cleveland Browns. It is the first time since 2019 that the Cowboys have not had a prime time kickoff in Week 1.
