A man died Sunday evening after being shot while driving in an alley on the near east side, 10TVNews has learned.
Police said Jason S. Bielowski, 39, was driving northbound in the alley west of N. Monroe Avenuejust south of Buckingham Street when he was shot around 5:30 p.m. Bielowski crashed his vehicleinto a telephone pole in the alley.
Bielowksi was transported to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
